The Joshua Foundation is comprised of a great home team that lives and works from our base in Arusha,
and international partners that help from around the world.
Alan directs TJF leadership training programs at En Gedi and elsewhere in East Africa and overseas.
Amani is Deputy Principal at Joshua Teachers’ Training College (JTTC), where he also matriculated as a certified teacher.
ANDREW AND NICOLA THOMPSON
Andrew and Nicola hail from New Zealand and are here for one year with their four children. Andrew oversees building programs at En Gedi base and trains staff in Bible.
Archbold is Joshua Teachers’ Training College (JTTC) principal, having graduated through TJF training programs. He is a widower with three children.
Don is a projects’ coordinator/trainer from Australia. He is married to Mila from southern Tanzania.
Ephraim is one of our longest standing team members and is En Gedi’s base manager.
Jona is Head Teacher at Joshua Schools Arusha (JSA) and comes from the Bukoba region of Lake Victoria.
Katie comes from Sequim, Washinton USA and is involved in early childhood education as a teacher-trainer.
Lorivi leads the ‘Beacon Schools’ Project’ with Manase.
Lynda directs TJF and oversees its education department, keeping her busy all year!
Manase leads TJF’s ‘Beacon Schools’ Project’, a teacher-upskilling initiative that is having great impact through northern Tanzania.
Moses is Projects’ foreman. He is married to Celina and has two children.
SIMON AND JOANNA WAMALA
Simon and Joanna have been here for many years. Simon is Ugandan and is TJF’s student chaplain. He also oversees our outreach program. Simon and Joanna have 3 children.
Wendy comes from Plainfield, Indiana USA and directs early childhood education at TJF.
